Mr. Albert Khoo

Educated in Malaysia and Singapore University, Mr. Albert Khoo began his working career in real estate, property valuation and estate agency.  After a change in career direction he started a furnishing company in 1986 and began manufacturing wooden curtain poles and timber venetian blinds in 1998. In 2000 he started manufacturing wooden gift boxes and joined the KLSFEA in 2006. He took up office as Secretary General in 2010 and had been representing the furniture industry in working with the Government and GLCs like MTIB, MTC and MFPC to formulate policies. He has begun spearheading projects to work with various academic and vocational institutions to directly engage the market with the ultimate aim of meeting the shortage of skilled workers and industry talents.
